The serum levels of trace elements alterations have been linked with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2 DM) and its complication. Objectives this study is to detect the correlation relation between Chromium, Magnesium (Mg), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe) Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) in patients type two diabetes mellitus, also comparison Ferroxidase, Transferrin, Total iron binding capacity control groups. A total forty subjects were included study, they divided groups (control diabetic patients). blood samples taken from all participants analyzed for Cr, Mg, Zn, Cu, Fe. concentration each sample was determined by using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy. negative found Fe level Type-2 diabetics FBS, whereas copper shows significant positive chromium shown no FBS. showed a increase, while decrease Transferrin T2DM.
